Reading Strategies

I have been learning to identify the different parts of a book.

"This is the front cover."

Making Patterns

In maths we have been learning how to make different patterns.

"This is my pattern.  It is green, red, green, red."

Story Writing

I am learning to copy what has already been written.  This is a step towards writing independently.

"I saw a pukeko and a duck."

Ambury Farm

We went on a trip to Ambury Farm.  We saw some animals and we got to feed them.  The animals gave us kisses on our hands when we were feeding them.  Ranger Meredith showed us how they get rid of sheep dags (which we learnt was dry poo).  Then we watched as a cow was being milked.

"I liked the chickens best."
